The U.S. Department of Transportation/Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) has a requirement for Trend Micro Deep Security Anti-Malware (Soft Maintenance).

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.  This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.

FMCSA invites your company to submit a quote in accordance with FAR Part 12-Acquisition of Commercial Items as it relates to the attached SF18 provided as Attachment (I). Your quote will be evaluated for the purpose of establishing a contract for these services.
This acquisition shall be a 100% Small Business Set-A-Side.  NAICS Code is 541519.

Vendors shall provide a price for each contract line item number (CLIN) and an overall total price in their quote.  Quotes with quantities of more or less than requested or products other than those requested shall be rated technically unacceptable.

Only certified resellers are accepted.

Remanufactured or refurbished software, as defined in FAR 11.001, is technically unacceptable. Trade-in or exchange of old software is not available.

This RFQ uses Brand Name or Equal purchase descriptions. Potential vendors may propose a product in lieu of the brand named item, whereas the replacement product meets or exceeds the salient physical, functional, or performance characteristics of the brand name item specifically mentioned. Potential vendors who propose products other than those specifically referenced by brand name shall provide adequate documentation to verify technical equivalency. Insufficient documentation for a technical evaluation regarding proposed products equivalency to the product referenced by brand name shall result in a technically unacceptable rating and removal from award consideration.

 QUOTE SUBMISSION

The Offerors proposing shall be submitted on the SF 18 (Attachment I) and the Schedule of Supplies and Services and Prices/Cost included as Attachment II.  Clauses are included as Attachment III.  Quotes are due by September 23, 2019 at 5:00 PM EST.  Late responses shall not be accepted and shall receive no consideration for award.  Questions and/or quotations shall be submitted in writing via e-mail to Constance Moore, the primary point of contact for this announcement, at Constance.Moore@dot.gov. Please submit your quotation on a Firm-fixed price basis. The basis for award is lowest price technically acceptable.
