The Vision Council is the nonprofit trade association organization for the optical industry. As the vision care leader in enabling better vision for better lives, we position our members for success by promoting growth in the vision care industry through education, advocacy, research, consumer outreach, strategic relationship building and industry forums. The Vision Council's market research team provides insights about the optical industry for members and external clients.
Given recent market disruptions and substantial advancements in data analytics technologies, The Vision Council's research team is embarking on an initiative to redesign the VisionWatch research program and products. This Request for Proposals (RFP) for sourcing assistance with data management, data analytics tools, and business intelligence tools to overhaul the technology stack and systems used in our market research work.
We are seeking to contract with a vendor who can build a new database to ensure all data are secure, mapped correctly, clean, and accessible for easy reporting and queries. In addition to the data, the vendor will also work with us to select and implement a business analytics system that connected to the database to allow us to produce market research on the optical industry. The project requires a deep understanding of consumer survey data, market research tools, data warehousing, and data analytics systems.
