The SBCCOG is seeking technical assistance and outreach support from qualified firms to produce a corridor study, including community engagement activities, to address Local Travel Network gaps within and between the South Bay communities that include: the cities of Carson and Lomita; the communities of Wilmington and San Pedro located in the City of Los Angeles Council District 15; and unincorporated areas of Los Angeles County found in this Southern area of the SBCCOG's service territory. The overall goal of the project is to develop a corridor plan that includes technical plans, drawings, maps, and supportive materials, along with policy recommendations to address the Local Travel Network (LTN) "gaps" found in the study area. The corridor plan will serve as a guiding document for the implementation of safe micro mobility infrastructure from "Carson to the Sea".
