?.## SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS
The TD 100B. Automated TEE Probe Disinfector is designed to provide high-level disinfection of transesophageal (TEE) echocardiogram ultrasound probes.
The TD 100B. disinfects each TEE probe with TD 5B. disinfectant and provides printed verification upon completion of successful disinfection cycle. Microprocessor-controlled, the TD 100B. is simple to use for any health care professional reprocessing a used TEE ultrasound probe.
Features:
o    High-level disinfection complete in 5 minutes
o    Five individual rinse cycles after disinfection cycle is complete
o    Built-in advanced vapor management system captures and neutralizes disinfectant fumes
o    Microprocessor-controlled for ease of use by medical personnel
o    Repeatable, verified disinfection cycle
o    Printed record of successful disinfection cycle
o    Single-use TD 5B. high-level disinfectant
o    Full diagnostic check of each disinfection cycle
o    No MEC testing necessary for high-level disinfectant
o    120V AC - Tested to UL standards
Printed Verification - The TD 100B. performs continuous self-diagnostic tests that confirm the result in a printed report after each cycle. The date, time, disinfectant lot number, and identity of both operator and probe are recorded. If needed, additional copies can be printed directly from the machine.
Cost Saving - The TD 100B. generates significant savings both in labor time and cycle time. The disinfection and rinse process requires less than one minute of operator time, while the whole process only takes 17 minutes. Because the TD 100B. can be placed near where you use your probes, you eliminate the need to transport the delicate probes back and forth for reprocessing. The TD 100B. allows more procedures with the same probe, while reducing stress and potential damage to probes
Compact - The TD 100B. is only 8" deep, 24" wide, and 44" high. It can be placed close to where you use your probes without taking up excessive space needed with manual reprocessing.
Protects Your Probes - The TD 100B. dramatically reduces the amount of stress and the potential for damage to TEE probes. Custom, form-fitted holders safely and securely hold the TEE probe to minimize potential probe damage that is associated with manual reprocessing. The TD 5B. high-level disinfectant container is held securely to deliver the exact measured dose for proper high-level disinfection.
The following is a manufacturers warning for TEE probes:
?Do not use a transducer that has been dropped or struck against another object. The transducer is fragile and will break ... this is not covered by the probe warranty or service contract.?
Manual reprocessing can expose your TEE probes to this type of expensive damage.
Fast & Easy to Use - After inserting the TEE probe into the TD 100B., you simply follow the clear prompts on the display. This takes less than one minute, 17 minutes later with no further action required by the operator, the cycle is complete. Compare that to the labor intensive manual process for disinfection and rinsing.
Automatic Waste Disposal - Upon completion of the disinfection cycle, the TD 100B. automatically pumps the TD 5B. disinfectant to drain and eliminates the potential for over-soaking the TEE probe
Protects Your Staff - TD 5B. is a high-level disinfectant made specifically for the TD 100B.. The single-use container's seal is opened inside the machine. Splashes, spills, and vapors are minimized. Fresh disinfectant is used for each cycle eliminating the need for MEC testing. An advanced vapor management systems adsorbs and neutralizes vapors during the process
