The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is offering for sale two (2) items of standing timber on approximately 141 acres within two (2) separate blocks at Fort A.P. Hill, Bowling Green, VA 22427 of which approximately the following volumes to be harvested:
The sales are sold per Item by unit, harvested timber will be sold by WEIGHT by the ton.
Item 1 - TIMBER ON 1 BLOCK (61 ACRES)
PINE SAWTIMBER -- 412 Tons
PINE CHIP N SAW - 28 Tons
PINE PULPWOOD - 1099 Tons
HARDWOOD SAWTIMBER - 1420 Tons
HARDWOOD PULPWOOD - 843 Tons
Tons of Chips (optional) - 163 Tons
Item 2 - TIMBER ON 1 BLOCK (80 ACRES)

Item # one (1) Block # one (1) - All harvest operations including site rehabilitation activities of this item shall be completed by 15 April 2020. No tree cutting 15 April to 15 September.

INSPECTION INVITED ON FRIDAY 15 March 2019 & FRIDAY 22 March 2019 BEGINNING AT 9:00 a.m. EACH MORNING. ALL AVAILABLE ITEMS WILL BE SHOWN ON THE ABOVE DAYS. FOR ACCESS TO HARVEST AREAS ARRANGE IN ADVANCE. Sealed bids will be accepted until 2:00 p.m. Thursday March 28, 2019 by the Acquisition, Management, and disposal section, real estate office, 803 Front Street, Norfolk, VA, and then opened publicly.
