The Contractor(s) shall provide the personnel and services necessary to perform the effort
described in Section C, PERFORMANCE WORK STATEMENT (PWS) resulting from this
Request for Proposal.
This contract is to provide the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation's (PBGC's) Financial
Operations Department (FOD), Collection and Compliance Division (CCD), with professional
services in support of its premium operations programs including technical, financial, accounting,
and auditing support. These support services are required to enable PBGC to: 1) ensure an
unqualified audit opinion is received for the Corporation's annual financial statements; 2)
maintain PBGC's premium enforcement and debt collection program activities; 3) to maintain
critical accounting programs that include: i) financial reporting, ii) premium operations, iii)
accounts receivable (AR), iv) accounts payable (AP), v) PBGC's premium enforcement activities,
and vi) debt collection programs, vii) to sustain the implementation, integration and maintenance
of all current and new financial management and accounting systems, viii) and to provide quality
customer service to premium payers and plan practitioners by providing prompt, accurate up to
date and reliable premium information and account status.
