CGC MUNRO


Scope of Work:


 


NR1 MRG Inspection and Diagnoses


TECH WILL TRANSIT WITH CGC MUNRO FROM ALAMEDA. CA TO SAN DIEGO, CA, IAW SOW.


 


Work to be performed:


 


REDUCTION GEAR INSPECTION


 


CTR will sail with USCGC MUNRO from Alameda to San Diego. CTR to perform thorough internal and external inspection of the #1 MRG, #2MRG. CTR will assist the USCGC MUNRO in identifying root cause of the MRG's hammering while MDPE is engaging and disengaging from the MRG's


 


CTR will provide the following:

 

•1.      CTR will provide all tools (i.e. diagnostic software, borescope, etc.) deemed necessary to complete thorough inspection.  

•2.      Conduct thorough external and internal inspection of the MRG's

•3.      CTR will inspect all attached MRG's accessories

•4.      Inspect lube oil system for metal particulates

•5.      Conduct an Operational inspection of the MRG's under supervision of CG Senior Technicians while transiting to San Diego, CA

•6.      CTR will submit a CFR with detailed inspection results to SFLC LRE AMS OAKLAND and recommended course of action to affect repairs to MUNRO's MRG's

Vendor will provide all labor and parts listed in the Schedule. NAICS Code #X333999 applies to this procurement. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. No solicitation will be issued, however all responses received on/before 0800 AM PST16 MAY 2019 will be reviewed by the Government. A determination not to compete this proposed contract based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals.
