LIFE PRESERVER ASSEMBLIES, INFLATABLE, AIRCREWMEN AND PASSENGER, CEMENTED AND HEAT SEALED
THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) is seeking additional sources for life preservers in accordance with MIL-L-81561G, Life Preserver Assemblies, Inflatable, Aircrewmen and Passenger, Cemented and Heat Sealed, for listing on Qualified Products List (QPL) 81561. MIL-L-81561G is available at ASSIST https://quicksearch.dla.mil/ and may be obtained by using the "Document Number" search box and entering 81561.
These inflatable life preservers are used by aircrewmen and passengers. Specific requirements for the individual life preserver assemblies are contained in detail specification sheets, MIL-L-81561/1 thru MIL-L-81561/6 and are available as described above.
THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION. With respect to products requiring qualification, awards will be made only for products that are, at the time of award of contract, qualified for inclusion in QPL-81561 whether or not such products have actually been so listed by that date. Contractors should be aware of requirements specified in MIL-L-81561G. Manufacturers should arrange to have the products that they propose to offer to the Federal Government tested for qualification in order that they may be eligible to be awarded contracts or orders for the products covered by MIL-L-81561G. Guidance for manufacturers and their authorized distributors who wish to submit products for NAWCAD qualification is available from the Provisions Governing Qualification (SD-6).
