The Federal Bureau of Prisons has a requirement for landfill services for the Federal Correctional Institution Englewood (FCI) located in Littleton, Colorado. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 562212 (Size Standard: $35.5 million). The contractor must operate and maintain a Municipal Solid Waste Landfill (MSWLF) and must comply with the federal regulations in 40 CRF Part 258 or equivalent state regulations. In addition, the contractor's landfill.must be located within 25 driving miles of the FCI. The facility averages an estimated 59 tons a month of non-hazardous solid waste. This is an estimate only and the Government does not guarantee these estimates.

The regular working hours for contract services shall be 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with an exception of Federal Holidays. The Government contemplates awarding of an indefinite-delivery, requirements- type contracts with firm-fixed unit prices resulting from the solicitation.

All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary. The Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government.

The Request for Quotation will be available on or about March 15, 2019 and will be distributed solely through General Service Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site, www.fbo.gov. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including amendments, will be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information regarding this acquisition.

Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations can submit quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.

The response date for the solicitation is April 4, 2019. All responses are to be emailed in .pdf format only, to r16brown@bop.gov and will be deemed received at the time received as indicated on the email notification. A confirming email will be sent when quotes are received. Faxed or mailed quotes will not be accepted. Emails rejected by filters are not the responsibility of the government.
