INTRODUCTION
The General Board of Higher Education and Ministry (GBHEM) invites qualified entities to submit a proposal for effective solutions to fund important ministries into the future. The dynamics of a changing church ecosystem and uncertain funding sources creates an opportunity for GBHEM to deliver impact in new and different ways.

GBHEM is a 501c3 focused on the ministry of learning and leadership for The United Methodist Church, supporting more than 1,100 educational institutions and thousands of church leaders worldwide. In addition to serving Christians around the world with intellectual engagement, spiritual and leadership formation, GBHEM creates educational products, services and initiatives that prepare emerging leaders, students in higher education, ordained clergy, lay leaders, elders, deacons, and licensed local pastors for their roles as leaders in the Church and the world.
