REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL INFORMATION AND INSTRUCTIONS

The Changemakers board at University Synagogue invites eligible nonprofit organizations to submit grant proposals for the Spring 2023 grant cycle. Grants of up to $3,000 will be awarded to one or more organizations doing work to create solutions for communities experiencing the negative effects of poverty.

Changemakers is an initiative of University Synagogue. Changemakers, established in 2022, gives teen participants an opportunity to learn about concepts of Jewish philanthropy, explore Jewish values, dive into grant making, and review and analyze grant proposals during a series of meetings over the coming months. Our youth board will determine how to distribute $5,000 of the Changemakers funds to one or more nonprofit organizations.

REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

Nonprofits are encouraged to apply by Thursday, March 9 deadline. Submissions should be emailed in PDF form ONLY to jbram@universitysynagogue.org

The University Synagogue Changemakers board requests proposals from nonprofit organizations for grants of up to $5,000 in funding, to be awarded in May 2023. Changemakers may award a single grant of $5,000 or several smaller grants.

Our board is a group of 15 high school students. Changemakers was founded by University Synagogue in partnership with Honeycomb.
