Overview of Solicitation
This posting is an Invitation for Bids. Respondees are advised that the Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this solicitation; all costs associated with responding to this solicitation will be solely at the interested party's expense. Not responding to this solicitation does not preclude participation in any future IFB, if one is issued. The due date and time for submission of bids is contained in the solicitation package. Paper copies will NOT be available. The entire solicitation, including the specification and/or drawings, are available only on the Federal Business Opportunities Web Site at: https://www.fbo.gov/.

Type of Reward
The Government intends to award one Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract using SEALED BIDDING. The disclosure of magnitude is between $250,000 and $500,000 IAW FAR 36.204(d). The acquisition is being solicited as a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The applicable North American Classification System (NAICS) code is 238210, with a small business standard of $15M.


Requirement
Eielson AFB, Alaska has a requirement for the following: Install a new system to include both fire alarm and mass notification functions, additional equipment, as related to voice annunciating features, will be required where the complement of these systems is larger than existing systems. The contractor shall provide all engineering, labor, equipment, and materials to perform the work required, in strict accordance with specification and applicable drawings at Eielson AFB Alaska. The contractor shall perform to the standards in the contract as well as all local, state, and federal regulations.

Distribution of Notice
The solicitation will be issued electronically only via the Federal Business Opportunities website (www.fedbizopps.gov). Potential offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation package, as no paper copies will be furnished. Potential offerors should register at www.fedbizopps.gov in order to receive notification and/or changes to the solicitation.


Site Visit
A site visit will be conducted on the week of 27-31 May 2019. The finalized date of the visit will be added to the solicitation and notice will be sent out to interested parties. Please contact members below NLT 24 May 2019 at 1400 hrs (2:00 PM) AKST to attend.
