Summer Intensive Life Skills Camp
The Department announces the availability of grant funding for the purpose of creating summer intensive life skills camps. DCF invites eligible providers to submit proposals for the purpose of awarding funds, through an open competitive process, to public or private colleges and universities, and/or a not-for profit agency incorporated as a 501 (c) 3, to contract with DCF for the provision of summer intensive life skills camps for eligible youth receiving services through DYFS.
The intent of this RFP is to provide summer life skills programs to any DYFS involved youth between the ages of 16-21 residing in a DYFS or publicly funded placement. The summer life skills programming will assist these aging out youth to develop or further enhance life skills, preparing them for independence and self-sufficiency.
