Maintenance and Operation of Waste Water Treatment Plant

The purpose of this RFP is to solicit bid proposals for the
Operations and Maintenance of the Wastewater (Sewer) Treatment Plant.
The contractor shall provide
daily operational and maintenance adjustments, equipment operation, control, testing, regulatory
sampling, regulatory reporting and all other services needed to operate at appropriate levels of
treatment to meet the requirements of the NJDEP issued permit, and all applicable rules and
regulations of the NJDEP and USEPA. The contractor shall also monitor, make repairs and
perform regularly scheduled maintenance to all equipment and facilities in accordance with
manufacturers recommended Operation and Maintenance (O&M) requirements.
The contractor shall maintain and preserve the plants equipment and surroundings in a clean and
neat condition and take all precautions to assure its security and integrity.
