Automated Photo Red Light Enforcement Program
The City is seeking through this Request for Proposals (RFP), an automated (camera) enforcement system and citation processing services for the Automated Photo Red Light Enforcement Program. The Department of Transportation will select intersections throughout the City for automated enforcement for traffic safety reasons, including those with a high incidence of red light related traffic collisions. The contractor will design and construct necessary street infrastructure at each intersection and supply computers, cameras, citation processing, technical support and project evaluation data. The Police Department will review each photographed incident and notify the contractor when a violation requires processing and issuance of a citation.
