Youth Employment & Training Services funded through Federal American Recovery & Reinvestment Act
The "Board" is seeking proposals that offer youth education, training and employment services that not only support and prepare youth for success in employment and improved educational achievement; but also, through intensive service strategies, have a long-term impact on a youths future as members of both the community and the workforce. In particular, the Board is seeking proposals that focus on out-of-school youth. We are also seeking proposals which use an industry-focused approach designed to prepare youth for an in-demand occupation in the County. The Board stresses that the Recovery Act strongly encourages summer youth employment programs.
