Wireless Broadband Access
The Government intends to award a firm-fixed price contract for turn-key engineering, furnishing, installation, and testing solution to provide wireless broadband access in rural areas throughout Fort Dix, NJ bivouac sites and wireless 802.11 access for COL Victory (TOC) Tactical Operations Center tents. Wireless broadband communications will provide network services for missions, training exercises, and disaster recovery for the warfighter. Fort Dix Pager tower currently has fiber uplinks in place ready to support wireless broadband backhaul access. The Pager tower building 3581 requires point-to-point radio and sector antenna installed to cover Fort Dix main post and training areas from a new telescopic mast mobile tower. In addition to wireless services, the COL Victory will need an 802.11 wireless solution to cover TOC tents. Work is to be completed within 120 days from date of award - 120 days include site survey, installation, documentation, training, and inventory.
This requirement is 100% small business set-aside.
