Wiper Rags services for 13 state region- 99th RSC
This pre-solicitation notice, for a planned acquisition, is to furnish, pickup, clean and deliver shop rags to various locations in the Northeast Region of the 99th RSC. The performance period is one year from approximately 01 March 14 plus four one-year options that may be exercised unilaterally by the Government.
DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES: The service provider shall provide all management, labor, materials, and transportation necessary to furnish, pickup, clean and deliver shop rags to various locations at the Northeast Region of the 99th RSC. All locations will be listed in the solicitation.
For the base year of the contract approximately 48,850 shop towels will need to be furnished, picked up, cleaned and delivered monthly. For Option periods 1 - 4 the estimated quantities for the shop towels is 48,850. Pick up of the soiled shop rags and delivery of the clean ones shall be on a bi-monthly basis.
The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 812332, Industrial Launderers.
This acquisition is 100% small business set-aside.
This acquisition will be conducted IAW FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 14, to procure a Firm Fixed Price Contract. The solicitation will be posted on or about 14 February 2014 utilizing FedBizOps.gov single government point-of-entry (GPE) for Federal government procurement opportunities at www.fbo.gov and solicitation documents will not be available by any other means. All responsible sources may submit a bid which will be considered. Funds are currently available for this acquisition. The offer due date will be stated in the solicitation. The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-60.
