Wheel Bearing Maintenance & Adapter Set
The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ (NAWCADLKE) intends to enter into sole source negotiations with Honeywell International Inc., Clearwater, FL for a quantity of two (2) Maintenance Set, Aircraft Main Wheel Bearing P/N 2560764, two (2) Maintenance Set, Aircraft Nose Wheel Bearing P/N 2560765, two (2) Adapter Set, A/C Maint-Tired Main Wheel P/N 2560778, and two (2) Adapter Set, A/C Maint-Tired Nose Wheel P/N 2560779 required to support the F/A-18 Aircraft.
The Government does not have the detailed data available for this effort. NAWCADLKE intends to procure these items under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (C ) (1), as implemented in FAR 6.302-1. No solicitation package is available for this procurement. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal, which may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement based upon the response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
