Wet Weather Secondary Treatment Expansion
The work for this project consists of, but is not necessarily limited to the expansion of the Advanced Wastewater Treatment Facility to increase its wet weather secondary treatment capacity from 150mgd to 300mgd. Work shall include construction of a pump station, an electrical building, two (2) aeration tanks, a blower/electrical building, three (3) junction structures, and an effluent diversion structure; modification of an existing pump station; replacement of equipment and pipes in existing final clarifiers; installation of air blowers, diffusers, mixers, and pumps; replacement of sluice gates, blowers, piping, and valves; and demolition of four (4) bio-roughing towers, equipment in a chemical building, and a diversion structure.
The work also includes yard piping, process piping, demolition, excavation, bypass pumping, dewatering, re-grading, paving, landscaping, coating, HVAC, electrical work, instrumentation and control, clean-up, and all other work and appurtences.
