Water Utilities Financial Planning and Analysis Services
The County, a political subdivision of the State of Florida, is soliciting proposals from qualified firms for water utilities financial planning and analysis services. The County operates 47 water production facilities, 10 wastewater treatment facilities, and 3 reclaim water systems throughout the County. The utility services 57,000 water connections, 40,000 wastewater connections and 3,600 reclaim water connections. The utility annual revenue is $44 million and we expect to issue bonds to cover a $30 million dollar per year Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) over the next 5 years. We have 6 different Regional Systems, but only charge one rate. It is anticipated that the majority of work awarded under this contract will be for services related to preparing Revenue Sufficiency Analysis and Bond Feasibility Reports to be included in bond offering documents.
