Water Supply Line Replacement, Severn Run Natural Environment Area
This project is to remove and replace all existing copper water supply lines in the building at Severn Run Natural Environment Area, 1034 Dicus Mill Rd., Millersville, Anne Arundel County, MD 21108. The project shall include: remove and replace approx. 200 LF of existing copper water supply piping, supports, fittings and valves with new CPVC piping. Remove and replace all existing basement water shut off valves with new CPVC ball valves. Reuse all existing fixtures and contol trim, including water shut offs. Cut and patch existing drywall finishes where access to interior wall cavities is needed. Provide and install one frost-proof exterior hose bibb, including vacuum breaker device. Insulate all new water supply piping located in the unconditioned basement or crawl space with CPVC-compatible pipe insulation. Remove and replace existing water softening system with a new "in-line" whole house filter/sediment filter cartridge; together with a whole house water treatment system.
