Water Main Replacement Project
Optional pre-bid meeting 03/04/2010.
The scope of work consists of replacing an existing 2-inch galvanized steel water line, a 6-inch asbestos concrete water line, and a 6-inch cast iron water line. The existing water lines will be replaced with 8-inch ductile iron pipe. There is approximately 742 linear feet of new 8-inch ductile iron pipe, approximately 778 linear feet of new 8-inch ductile iron pipe, and approximately 666 linear feet of ductile iron pipe. The new water line will be tied into an existing 8-inch ductile iron water line at the bridge on one end and into an existing 12-inch ductile iron water line on the east side of the Street on the other end.
