Water Main Replacement
Non-mandatory pre-bid meeting 05/11/2010.
The scope of work comprises of the installation of approximately 91 linear feet of 6-inch ductile iron pipe (DIP), 1,282 linear feet of 8-inch DIP, and 3,943 linear feet of 12-in DIP along and adjacent to the Street including the tie-ins to the existing water distribution system, and the installation of all required appurtenances. Restoration of disturbed areas will be required daily as work progresses. Project will be constructed in acquired easements and inside of the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) right-of-way. Required GDOT certifications will apply to portions of this project.
