Utility Production Upgrade
Replace an existing 3,350 steam turbine driven centrifugal chiller with a new steam turbine driven chiller of similar capacity. Replace an existing 2000 ton electric driven chiller with a variable speed drive electric driven chiller of similar capacity. The cooling tower for this chiller is to be refurbished. New chilled water pumps, cooling water pumps, instrumentation and controls are required. Construct a new 2.5 million gallon chilled water thermal storage system. Install a new heat pump chiller of 1,000 to 1,250 ton capacity. An existing empty cooling tower cell will be built out to serve this chiller.
