Update to P-3 Pylon Drawings
The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst requires updating of the technical data and engineering drawing package for 10 upgraded wing stores pylons for the P-3C AIP Maverick Wing Stores Pylon. The Government intends to issue a purchase order on a sole source basis to Lockheed Martin Corporation. Under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1), FAR 6.302-1, this firm is considered the only manufacturer of the required equipment. Lockheed Martin owns all proprietary rights to the engineering data and detailed product drawings. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of this notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a full and open competitive procurement.
