Triennial Performance Audit
The Orange County Transportation Authority (Authority) invites proposals
from qualified firms to provide performance audit of the Authority and the
Orange Countys Transit Operators.
The performance audit should include, but not be limited to:
Review of the systems and procedures used for managing finances and
operations and for evaluating and reporting performance.
Identification and verification of areas in which there may be internal control
weaknesses, uneconomical or inefficient operations, lack of goal achievement,
or lack of compliance with laws and regulations.
Follow-up of findings and recommendations of the Performance Audit
performed for years 2003-04, 2004-05, and 2005-06.
Identification of achievements and practical recommendations for improvement.
The firm conducting the performance audit must certify that they are independent,
in both fact and appearance.
