USDA, ARS, is seeking a contractor to provide a Wastequip model 265VP 30 Yard trash Compactor. This requirement is brand name or equal per FAR 52.211-6.
Salient characteristics:
Wastequip model 265XP - 30 yard self-contained twin cylinder compactor with standard features including Guardian Control System, multicycle timer, adjustable sliding hinge, precision guided ram, 6' remote power unit with cover, automatic maintenance scheduler, controls in panel face, NEMA 4 rated control panel, tri-volt/TEFC motor, full gasketed door, low temperature oil, 100% full light and 5 year structural warranty. Options to include 3 sided hopper with safety gate and interlock, hinged transition plate, and walk on desk.


This sources sought request is being used as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to provide the product(s) required. The result of this market research will contribute to determining whether there are adequate sources available from which to receive competitive proposals.


The NAICS code is 333318, with a small business size of 1000 employees.


Submission Instructions: Interested Businesses, with active SAM records (www.sam.gov), who consider themselves qualified to provide the listed service(s) are invited to submit a response to this Sources Sought notice by 9:00 AM (Central Time) July 17th, 2019. If your organization has the appropriate qualifications and capacity to provide a qualifying service(s), please provide a complete and current record of your Single Award Management (SAM) listing including DUNS number, Organization name, address, contact name, email address, Web site address, telephone number, type of organization, small business type (if any), etc. to the point of contact below.
