Development Alternatives Inc. (DAI) has been selected by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) to implement the Partnership for Economic Growth (Partnership) program in Somaliland located in Hargeisa, Bada Cas area. The Partnership program seeks to help local authorities and private sector groups improve the enabling environment for investment, generate more productive employment and improve other livelihood activities. The purpose of this RFP is to support Muliyo Salt Trading Company in the establishment of a Salt Refinery Plant in Borama, western Somaliland.
DAI invites qualified international salt equipment production companies to submit a proposal to provide equipment, and machinery for salt processing activities as specified in the RFP under USAID's Partnership for Economic Growth program (USAID Contract # AID-EEM-I-00-07-00009/AID-623-TO-11-00001).
