PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City, invites sealed bids for the above stated project and will receive such bids in the office of the City Clerk, 1245 N. Hacienda Road, La Habra Heights, CA 90631 up to the hour of 1:00 p.m., on the 20th day of March, 2012. The bids will be publicly opened and read at 1:00 p.m. on the 20th day of March, 2012, in the La Habra Heights City Hall Council Chambers.
In general, the work is comprised of mobilization, clearing and grubbing, earthwork, storm drain improvements, removal and replacement of A.C. pavement (patching), traffic control, storm water pollution prevention, utility adjustments, and other miscellaneous improvements as shown on the plans and as required to complete the work.
Copies of the plans, specifications, and contract documents are available from the City of La Habra Heights, 1245 N. Hacienda Road, La Habra Heights, CA 90631 upon payment of a $30.00 non-refundable fee if picked up, or payment of a $45.00 non-refundable fee if mailed. In accordance with the provisions of California Public Contract Code 3300, and Business and Professions Code 7028.15(e), the Agency has determined that the contractor shall posses a valid Class A contractor's license at the time that the contract is awarded. Failure to possess the specified license shall render a bidder's bid as non-responsive and shall bar award of the contract to any bidder not possessing the specified license at the time of the award.
The Agency reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
