The City of Albany is requesting Statements of Qualifications from structural engineers, civil engineers and architects to prepare individual structural analyses (hereinafter report), construction plans for seismic retrofit improvements (hereinafter plans), and estimates of probable costs for seismic retrofitting of up to 40 (estimate) privately owned commercial unreinforced masonry (URM) buildings located within the City. The buildings range from one to four stories in height, 700 to 15,000 square feet in area and have one or more unreinforced masonry walls.
