Spectrophotometer for High Precision

The purpose of this Request for Proposal is to award one Contract to one vendor to
provide a Spectrophotometer which will provide an essential resource in the Center for
Advanced Biotechnology and Medicine for carrying out high- precision analytical
measurements on biological samples. The research requires high resolution wavelength
scans to identify novel protein-metal species in complex mixtures and precise and rapid
control over temperature for multiple samples to permit characterization of
aggregation kinetics over many sample conditions in parallel.
