Skills Opportunity Success: A Workforce Development Initiative
This RFP is to support a program that will create pathways to high-growth, high-demand occupations that result in long-term self-sufficiency. The Workforce Services Coordinators will provide work readiness services, employment training, job placement and wrap-around services. Each participant will have a fund of flexible funds to support the implementation of the Career plan as developed with the Workforces Services Coordinator. The program will also leverage other community training resources, in particular the East Bay Career Academy and the Berkeley One-Stop.
