Sewage Treatment System - Ali Al Salem AB, Kuwait
This project is the construction of a Sewage Treatment Plant Expansion and includes installation of a lift station and required piping, an effluent storage tank and all associated utilities and site improvements to support a complete and useable facility.
The requirement is to expand the existing Sewage Treatment System from treating 313 cubic meters to 939 cubic meters per day. The addition will provide for an effluent holding tank to prevent effluent water from entering the existing lagoon.
The Base Bid shall contain a lift station and required piping, an effluent storage tank and all associated utilities and site improvements to support a complete and useable facility.
There are four optional bid items that will be awarded at the same time as the base bid. The optional bid item will be based on the availability of funds. This project will include the following as options to the base bid:
Option 1 - Rehab Brownstone Octagon Lift Station
Option 2 - Remove and replace existing offline packaged waste water unit
Option 3 - Provide and install one new packaged waste water unit
Option 4 - Provide and install one new packaged waste water unit
The estimated magnitude of the project is between $1,000,000.00 to $5,000,000.00 with an anticipated Period of Performance of 420 calendar days from project award.
The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation either before or after the closing date, and there shall be no legal liability on the part of the Government, to include liability for Contractor's proposal costs.
