Hub Cities Consortium is soliciting proposals from vendors who are interested in providing cost-effective, quality security patrol services for the Hub Cities Consortium Work Source Center.
The contract will include two unarmed patrol/security guards to be stationed on site during business hours, 10 hours a day and some weekends, approximate times are 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. during the week.
The security guard will be responsible for continuously patrolling the building perimeter, all 2nd floor, partial first floor of the building, and the two upper floors of the adjacent parking structure for unauthorized activities, vandalism, loitering, etc., assuring the building and parking garage remain safe and secure. The contract shall be for twelve (12) months (July 2011 - June 2012) with two (2) twelve (12) month options for the Hub Cities Consortium to renew. A mandatory Bidders' Conference will be held on Thursday, May 26, 2011 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., at the Hub Cities Consortium, 2677 Zoe Avenue, 2nd Floor, Huntington Park, California, 90255.
Administrative questions and technical questions about the scope of work will be answered at the Bidders' Conference. A walkthrough of the building and parking garage will also take place at that time.
The Q&As will also be emailed to those known to have obtained the RFP and provided an email address.
