LEGAL NOTICE (Advertisement for Bids) City of Cuyahoga Falls 1. Sealed Bids for "Substation 4 - Major Equipment" will be received by the City of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, at the office of the Director of Public Service, Municipal Building, 2310 Second Street, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, Until: 12:00 Noon, Local Time November 12, 2009 2.
The Contract Documents and Specifications are on file at the office of: Director of Public Service 2310 Second Street Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio 44221 And at the Consulting Engineer's Office: PFK Associates, Inc. 275 Graham Rd., Suite #6 Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44223 330-971-7788 A set of Contract Documents and Specifications may be obtained by depositing $100.00 with the Consulting Engineers. Seventy-five dollar ($75.00) of the deposit will be refunded to those parties that submit a responsive bid proposal on the official bid date. Bids will be received only from parties that have obtained recorded bid sets of drawings and specifications. Additional sets of documents may be purchased for $25.00 per set, non-refundable. All checks shall be made payable to: PFK Associates, Inc. 4.
All bids shall comply with the instructions listed in the Specifications and shall be delivered in a sealed envelope marked: Bid for "Substation 4 - Major Equipment" Addressed to: Valerie Wax Carr Director of Public Service 2310 Second Street Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221 5. Bidders must use the printed forms provided therefore, as none other will be accepted. Each proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties making the same, and all parties interested therein. 6. The bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond, redeemable to the City of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio for five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, a contract will be entered into. In lieu of a "bid bond", a certified check, on a solvent bank, in the sum of five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid will also be accepted as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, a contract will be entered into. 7. The successful bidder will be required to post a performance - payment bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the total amount of the contract awarded. 8. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of 60 days after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids. 9. The City of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities in bidding.
