Satellite Position Feature for the GA720 System
The purpose of this amendment is to clarify the proposed requirements for the Satellite Position Feature for the GA 720 System to support ARDEC's Training Round project. The U.S. Army intends to satisfy this requirement by soliciting, negotiating, and awarding a firm fixed price purchase order, on a sole source basis to DTC Communications, Inc., 2303 Dulles Station Blvd, Suite 205, Herndon VA 20171. The proposed effort is being pursued on a sole source basis because of anticipated substantial duplication costs the Government would expect to incur. The authority being utilized for the proposed effort is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) (1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a) (2) (ii) (A), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The proposed requirement is to provide hardware and firmware upgrade services to the currently Government owned Satellite Position Feature for the GA720 System.
This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, or quotation, which shall be considered by the Government. The NAICS code for this effort is 334220 and the small business size standard is 750 employees.
