The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ (NAWCADLKE) intends to award a competitive Cost Plus Fixed Fee order for shipboard alterations for removal and installation services of NAVAIR Aircraft Launch and Recovery Equipment (ALRE) Aviation Data Management and Control Systems (ADMACS) Block 2 equipment onboard the CVN-73 (USS George Washington). The procurement will be competed amongst small business Alteration Installation Team (AIT) Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) holders (N68335-18-G-0017, N68335-18-G-0018, N68335-18-G-0019, N68335-15-G-0017 and N68335-16-G-0011). The BOAs were issued under solicitation N68335-12-R-0050 on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website. The requirement will be for material and services including work in the following areas: Quality Assurance (QA), System Removal, Packaging and Shipping, Debris/Hazardous Material Disposition, Structural Work, Welding, Non-destructive testing, Electrical/Electronics, Piping/Plumbing, Fire Watch, Painting, and Pre-Installation Checkout.

 

Period of Performance for the contract will be through 06 September 2020. The NAICS code associated with this requirement is 336611. Only current small business AIT BOA holders will be able to compete for this requirement. All responsible sources who have not submitted a proposal for consideration under this AIT BOA, or who do not currently hold an AIT BOA, are encouraged to submit a technical capability proposal for consideration in response to Solicitation N68335-17-R-0157.  While this initial solicitation has closed, interested parties may still submit a technical proposal in accordance with solicitation N68335-17-R-0157 for consideration for a future BOA and participation in future AIT competitions.  This Solicitation will include instructions for how to submit proposals.  All questions and submissions in reference to this notice will be sent to the Point of Contact for this requirement, Matt Kasperavicius, Phone: (732) 323-7753, E-mail: matt.kasperavicius@navy.mil.
