Remanufacture of UH-1Y/ AH-1Z Tail Rotor Control Master Blade
The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, intends to solicit on a sole source basis to Bell Helicopter Textron, Inc., located in Fort Worth, Texas. The anticipated Fixed Price contract is for the re-manufacture of one each (1 ea) UH-1Y/ AH-1Z Tail Rotor Control Master Blade for repair activities at the Fleet Readiness Center - East located in Cherry Point, North Carolina. It is anticipated that the awarded contract will have a Period of Performance of nine (9) months from date of contract award. The Government intends to negotiate this procurement under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c) (1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. The Government does not own data, drawings, or other specifications to permit full and open competition. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of the notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No solicitation will be available for this procurement.
