Redistricting Support Services

As required by the City Charter, the City shall be redistricted at least once in every ten years, but no later than nine months following the receipt of the final Federal Decennial Census information. The City Redistricting Commission has the sole and exclusive authority to adopt plans which specify the boundaries of districts for the City Council. The Commission requests proposals from qualified Contractors to provide redistricting support services, including mapping softwarec data processing and analysisc preparation and review of proposed redistricting plansc and
technical staff support to facilitate creation of the 2010 redistricting plan.
