REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP) for PLANNING SERVICES
The Township of Evesham is inviting qualified planning consultants, urban designers and
multi-disciplinary firms to submit a proposal to provide professional services associated
with a New Jersey Department of Community Affairs, Smart Growth Visioning Grant.
The focus of the project is to conduct a broad based community visioning exercise that
will result in a concept plan for the future land uses in the vicinity of the Marlton Circle
and Main Street Corridor. The Marlton Circle, which is at the intersection of Route 70
and 73, is scheduled to be replaced with a modified clover leaf design in 2009. The
reconfiguration of this intersection is the primary reason the Township is undertaking this
visioning project. Finally, the visioning workshop will be conducted in various regions
throughout the Township thereby affording residents an opportunity to discuss and bring
forward land priorities in these areas, with a particular emphasis of parks, recreation and
open space planning goals.
