PLEASE NOTE THIS IS THE PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE, NOT THE ACTUAL SOLICITATION. Please read entire synopsis before contacting for questions. Army Contracting Command NJ-Fort Dix is issuing this synopsis for a firm fixed price purchase order as a result of the solicitation that will be issued. The contractor shall provide all plant, labor, equipment, tools, materials, supervision and transportation to accomplish the following work which consists of but is not limited to repairing or replacing a 6" welded iron natural gas line leak. Please refer to the Statement of Work (SOW) when the solicitation is posted for more information.

The Contractor shall have 30 Business Days from the Notice to Proceed Date to complete ALL TASKS associated with the Scope of Work.
Site Visits will be conducted on 17 October 2017 and 19 October 2017 at 10:00AM. (Please see solicitation when it is posted for contact information)
Target start date is on/about 1 November 2017. Statement of Work (SOW) will be included in the solicitation. This solicitation is a request for quote and is issued as a small business set aside with a primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) of 237120 - Oil and Gas Pipeline and Related Structures Construction. The entire solicitation will be made available on or about 12 October 2017 via fedbizops.gov. The actual due date will be stated in the solicitation under the instructions to offerors. It is the responsibility of the offeror to review the web page for notice of amendments, updates or changes to the solicitation. BOTH TECHNICAL AND PRICE PROPOSALS MUST BE SUBMITTED. No hard copies will be mailed. All potential sources must obtain a DUNS number and register in SAM (System for Award Management), https://www.sam.gov in order to transact business with the government. Failure to obtain a DUNS number and register in the SAM system may result in the delay of award of a contract or possible award to the next otherwise successful offeror who is registered in SAM at the time of award.
