Pobal invites tenders for the provision of legal services to certain Local Development Companies ("LDCs") in respect of the transfer of certain employees, assets and liabilities of the Community Development Projects ("CDPs") to LDCs.Pobal is a private not-for-profit company limited by guarantee with charitable status. Pobal is an intermediary company established by the Irish Government in agreement with the European Commission. Pobal's mission is to promote social inclusion, reconciliation and equality and counter disadvantage through integrated local social and economic development.Pobal is responsible for the annual disbursement of approximately 350 million of funds to thousands of community groups on behalf of the Government and the EU.
