Pharmacy Services
The purpose of this Request for Proposal is to solicit proposals that shall enable the Department to select the most qualified applicant to provide Pharmacy services that:
Distribute medications for the AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP), Sexually Transmitted Disease (STD) Program, and the Tuberculosis (TB) Program to health providers, clinics, and individuals throughout the state;
Process insurance claims for clients and cover the costs of insurance and medication co-payments for ADAP clients until such time as the Department can reimburse the pharmacy;
Dispense and ship purified protein derivative (PPD) to substance abuse treatment providers and clinics, as directed by the Substance Abuse Program;
and Store, dispense, and ship vaccine and other biologicals, as approved by the Immunization Program.
