Petroleum Contaminated Soil Excavator Pre-Qualified Lists
The Department seeks bids to create an
Excavator Contractor Pre-Qualified List for removal and disposal of soil
contaminated with petroleum in areas served by the Southern (SMRO), and
Central (CMRO) Maine Regional Offices of the Department.
This request is to establish a list of qualified contractors for projects in two
Regions, Southern Maine and Central Maine
The Department uses excavation contractors to perform soil clean-ups by
excavating petroleum contaminated soil, transporting the soil to a disposal or
treatment site (including constructing soil biopiles) and replacing the
contaminated soil with clean fill. Site restoration may include turf, tree, or
pavement replacement.
These lists will be in force for up to four(4) years from start date.
