On-Call Underground Utility Locating Services
The City is seeking proposals from qualified offerors to provide On-Call Underground Utility Locating Services.
The contract will be used on an as-needed basis and multiple awards may be made. Individual project cost and scope
will be negotiated at the time of need. The anticipated budget for year one of the contract is $50,000 however the City
makes no guarantee as to the amount of work the consultant(s) will actually receive.
Contractor(s) will be required to locate and mark underground and aerial, fiber and copper plant and cable for various City Departments. The scope of work will include but is not be limited to:
Pre-Screening - responding to blue stake notifications
Locate - marking in accordance with these requests (1 Unit shall be defined as 0-300)
Emergency/On-Demand Call Outs emergency or after hours locates of cable plant on 24 hour, 7 days a week basis as
determined by the City. Normal working hours for the purposes of this contract shall be 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday
through Friday (excluding City recognized holidays)
On-Site/Standby monitoring City requested on-site monitoring during excavations.
