Old Power Plant Rubber Roof Replace
Replace existing roof on main structure.
Remove existing rubber membrane, asphalt membrane, insulation, and damaged aluminum and lead flashing;
Inspect existing plywood or other wood roofing for decay and substantial damage/ replace accordingly.
Address existing scuppers (2#) accordingly;
Replace existing roof drains(2#), sealed water tight, complete with back drain prevention and basket strainers,
Seal water tight all penetrations, including duct work and cast iron stacks(6#);
Install flashing for all ductwork and cast iron stacks(6#);
Install no less than 2 of insulation to entire surface area of roof, secure with mechanical fasteners, providing pitch for adequate drainage;
Install new aluminum (brown) flashing if and where necessary to the perimeter of building, including where cooper flashing currently exists;
