NFPA REPRESENTATIVE
Description:
a. Attend and participate in at least five of the following NFPA Technical Committees on safety, training and fire ground operations: NFPA 13E; NFPA 1401; NFPA1403; NFPA1404; NFPA1405; NFPA 1407; NFPA 1410; NFPA1451; NFPA1452;
b. Attend and participate in at least one of the following NFPA Technical Committees on air quality and self-contained breathing apparatus: NFPA 1852; NFPA 1981; and NFPA 1989
c. Provide information and training to PF&R on upcoming changes and advances in technical standards for firefighter safety, training and firefighting equipment
d. Assist PF&R by providing information to assist in writing grant applications to help fund future purchases of emerging technology in firefighting equipment and standards.
