Multi-jurisdictional Pre-Disaster Mitigation Planning Services
The Polk County Emergency Management Commission in Iowa, hereafter known as
The Commission, is soliciting proposals from firms with relevant experience to
provide a proposed solution in the area of a multi-jurisdictional pre-disaster
mitigation planning services (hereafter referred to as PDM planning services)
consistent with current federal and state planning requirements. Jurisdictions making
up The Commission include unincorporated Polk County, Iowa and the municipalities
of Alleman, Altoona, Ankeny, Bondurant, Clive, Des Moines, Elkhart, Grimes,
Johnston, Mitchellville, Pleasant Hill, Polk City, Runnells, Urbandale, West Des
Moines, and Windsor Heights.
