Medical Services for Uniformed Employees
The CITY desires to appoint a firm or firms to provide professional medical services for uniformed employees of the CITY OF BAYONNE, including the following scope of services:
1) Review and approval of the sick policy for police and fire departments;
2) Conduct of new hire physicals;
3) Sign off on standing orders for required voluntary vaccinations
4) Oversight of the Blood Borne Pathogen Program;
5) Oversight of Respiratory Protection Program including Pulmonary Function Tests; and
6) At the request of the Fire/Police Director or Fire/Police Chief the provider shall examine or cause to be examined any member of the fire/police department who report an illness, injury, sickness or disability which may incapacitate such member for duty.
7) All reports and records shall be forwarded by the provider to the employee health nurse.
